In this modern world, the power saving system is help to us many purposes.Here we are using an electronic A.C motor speed regulator.This regulator is used to maintain the set speed of the motor constant.The speed variation due to over load,line voltage fluctuations, over voltage, surge problems etc.Can be controlled and the speed is maintained constant by using this “POWER SAVING SYSTEM IN LATHE”.This unit can be used upto 1 H.P. A.C. motor.

" Adjustable Spherical Speed Control Drive " - An Mechanical Project

The Intro  Of This Mechanical Engineering Project Is Given Below :-  In many applications it is desirable that to have a transmission at right angle as but at multiple speed; in these cases the velocity ratio need not be constant.

 Using bevel gears for such applications is not possible because each bevel gear pair will only a give a single output where as it desirable to have multiple speed more ever the design and development of gear box with multiple speeds incurs considerable cost so also speed is available in certain steps.
In order to effect to single speed change one will need a bevel pinion, a bevel gear and control lever i.e., three parameter per speed change. Moreover it is also not possible to have an in line constant mesh or sliding mesh bevel gear box as in case of spur gear, due to fact that bevel pairs are always generated in pairs, hence every new speed ratio will need a fresh pair of bevel gears.
